Coach Owens and his wife, Ginger, have two children, Cadon and Kinzi. Coach Owens attended
Haskell High School and Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Ok. Coach Owens has
been teaching and coaching for 21 years. In Coach Owens years of experience, he has coached
baseball, football, basketball, and softball. This is his 7th year of teaching and coaching at Jenks
Schools. He currently teaches U.S. History at the Jenks Alternative Center. Along with his
teaching duties he is a member of the baseball coaching staff and the head fast pitch softball
coach for the Lady Trojans. Some of Coach Owens many accomplishments include: 2010 fast
pitch state runner up, 2010 Tulsa World Coach of the Year, 2010 Frontier Conference coach of
the year. In 2001 and 2004 he was the 7 Star Conference Coach of the Year for baseball. He
coached the 1996 All State Baseball Game. He was also a member of the 1984 State Champion
Haskell High School Baseball Team and an Assistant Coach for both the Haskell 1996 State
Champion baseball team and the 2004 Coweta State Champion Softball team. He enjoys
coaching his children’s competitive summer baseball/softball teams and counseling at Burnt
Cabin Christian camp in his spare time.
Coach Finks has been a special education teacher with Jenks for the past 9 years and
coaches baseball and football for the Jenks Trojans. He attended Okmulgee High School
where he played football and baseball and continued his education at NEO, NSU and SNU.
He has a daughter named Chelsea. When he has spare time, he enjoys golfing and fishing.
Coach Keeley and his wife Tracy have five children, Skyler and Tyler (twins), Morgan, Jackson
and Alex. He teaches algebra and geometry at Jenks High School. Prior to his arrival at Jenks
he coached high school baseball for 11 years coaching Muskogee to the 1998 State Finals.
He also coached football and basketball at Muskogee, Comanche and Sand Springs. Coach
Keeley attended Muskogee High School playing football, basketball and baseball, and then
continued his baseball career while attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University as well
as The University of Arkansas. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves and continues to work
part time for the Chicago White Sox organization. Coach Keeley enjoys playing golf and
traveling with his family in his spare time.
Varsity Assistant Coach Jeremy Griffin
Coach Griffin and his wife Kelli are new to the Jenks family this season. Coach Griffin attended
Bixby High School, where he played baseball and football. After high school, he attended
Seminole State College on a baseball scholarship and later finished his pitching career at
Southern Arkansas University. Coach Griffin is a private pitching and hitting instructor at All
Star Baseball Complex.
In addition to coaching baseball, Coach Griffin and his wife are active members in the ministry
at LifeChurch in Bixby. His hobbies include golf, playing guitar, fishing, and he is an avid fan of
the Chicago Cubs and The University of Oklahoma. He and his wife have an English Bulldog
named Chloe.
Coach Evans' and his wife Kelly reside in the Jenks area. For the past seven years he has
coached for the Jenks Trojans. He is a 1999 graduate of Jenks High School where he was a
member of the baseball team. Coach Evans continued his education at Oklahoma State
University and graduated in 2005. He is the owner of Tulsa Turfmasters LLC, a professional
lawn and landscaping business. In his spare time, Coach Evans enjoys playing golf.
Coach Beeler and his wife Susan have three children, Chase, Dallas and Lacy. Coach Beeler
has been coaching Jenks Trojans baseball for many years. He attended Jenks High School and
was a member of the baseball team. He attended Southeastern Oklahoma University where he
played baseball as well. Coach Beeler is a proud inductee of the Oklahoma USSSA Hall of Fame
and the USSSA National Softball Hall of Fame. When Coach Beeler is not coaching or working as
a Fire Investigator for the Tulsa Fire Department, he enjoys fishing, hunting and playing golf.
Entering his fifteenth year in teaching and coaching and his twelfth year at Jenks is Rodney
Cline. Rodney has coached baseball at Freshman, JV, and Varsity (Assistant) levels. Before
Coach Cline joined the staff at Jenks, he was the head baseball and basketball coach at Butler
HS for 1 year and then spent 2 years as Freshman Basketball coach at Weatherford HS. As a
teacher, he has spent 12 years at Jenks Middle School teaching 8th Grade U.S. History.
In addition to his coaching and teaching duties, Coach Cline attends River Oaks Christian
Church. In his spare time he enjoys reading U.S. History. Favorite teams include OKC
Thunder, Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Rangers.
Coach Cline is married to the former Lacey Legnon, a 1995 Jenks graduate. The couple has a
two year old son, Auston Lee Cline, and a Jack Russell Terrier named Candy.
